LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION
Most scholarships will ask for at least 1 letter of recommendation.  When you ask someone to write you a letter, make sure you ask early (at least 2 weeks before you need it) and give them a resume or "brag sheet" about yourself to help them write a high quality and personalized letter.  Use the document below to create your brag sheet:

GRIZZLY ALUMNI FUND SCHOLARSHIP

ELIGIBILITY:  Seniors graduating from Central East High School, with above a 2.5 cumulative GPA

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: Application, photo, proof of acceptance or enrollment, transcript

AWARD AMOUNT: TBD

DEADLINE:  July 1, 2025

GRIZZLY ALUMNI FUND SCHOLARSHIP

 

 

WEALTH BY HEALTH - STEPS FOR CHANGE SCHOLARSHIP 

ELIGIBILITY:  Seniors, with above a 3.5 cumulative GPA, and household income of less than $55,000 (see application for details)

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: Application, 1 minute video of yourself, transcript, 1 letter of recommendation

AWARD AMOUNT: $2,000/Year (up to 4 years)

DEADLINE:  May 15, 2025

Army ROTC Scholarship -Full tuition, books, monthly stipends, Summer Internships, job

Asian Pacific Fund -- $171,000 will be awarded to 60 students. Eligibility requirements vary for

Horatio Alger Association Scholarship Program – The Horatio Alger Association seeks to

assist students who have demonstrated integrity, perseverance in overcoming adversity,

strength of character, financial need, a good academic record, commitment to pursue a college

NAVAL RESERVE OFFICERS TRAINING CORPS (NROTC) SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Navy Reserve Officers Training Program (Navy ROTC) is a multi-year program that runs concurrently with a student’s normal college or university educational course of study. In addition to a normal academic workload leading to a Baccalaureate degree, Navy ROTC students attend classes in Naval Science, participate in the Navy ROTC unit for drill, physical training, and other activities, and are generally taught the leadership principles and high ideals of a military officer.

SAE  Engineering Scholarships - Through generous contributions from various individuals,

corporations and universities, SAE International is proud to award scholarship money to

both undergraduate and graduate engineering students. SAE scholarships assist in

developing the future engineering workforce by helping students achieve their dreams of
